Trancers in Texas??

I'm leaving Los Angeles for the Dallas/Fort Worth area at the end of the month. Leaving LA was one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make. Especially now with Heaven picking up the talent they've been bringing.

Are there any Texas Trancers out there? I know the number will be TINY, but I'd still like to find like minded individuals. Wink

Statewide is cool even. Who knows. I might put together a state-wide event.

What part of Texas are you in? I'm originally from there so I know what I'm getting myself into. I moved to LA six years ago.

I'm not too big in the production arena. However, I know Josh and Aaron from Initialization String. Charlie (ex DJ Juice) and Kevin Parker are also acquaintences.

Anyone else????

Are you originally from the Dallas Ft. Worth area? I'm not too far from you. I'm currently attending Baylor in Waco and I am originally from North East Texas but unlike any of my friends I have always had a love for Trance/Techno music and am always searching for any info on it that I can find. Access to it is not the greatest here but I always love meeting new people here that can hopefully make it big here just like in California or other more civilized areas. Wink

hey there, sadly there really aren't a lot of techno/trance events here in texas, at least none that I hear of, trust me i'm always on the lookout, plus I know what you guys are talking about, only like 3 friends of mine are into trance at all, at that, i'm the only hardcore fan, o well.

Meltdown 3 wasn't that great. 4 was with PVD and Scott Bond, it was fun. I missed 5 but 6 is on Oct 16th at Lizard Lounge.

That's kinda weird that there's already 3 people in Waco that like Electronica/Trance. I wish there was a local club here that would consistently play good music. Guess I'll just have to get off my ass and go to Dallas like y'all have suggested. But in the mean time I'll just get my groove on in front of my computer in my room. Wink

lol texas man wow i heard they got some good clubs out there but no real big events. but im sure they have trancers there. i mean we got them everywhere right. trance is like a virus. spreads like hell and theres alot of people who have it. so yea enjoy the good ol south.
