What cash? How much, you didn't say...
Elysium and Lost Generation are my favorites on that CD...the System Mix is better though...

It was about $23 (Canadian) I believe.
Just wondering, I haven't heard most of the tracks on there and still don't want to shell out the cash if it has only one or two good tracks. Plus there's 22 songs and it's mixed, not too much of each track on there.

Looks like shit imo
HMV is offering more deals on certain CDs these days, which I feel is great.

I remember I bought Unkle's Album last year for 13.99, I bought Chemical Brothers's Best of the Singles (2CD) for 18, Hatiras's CDs are 13.99, dunno if you like his style. I saw Sasha's Involver (the non ltd edition for 22 yesterday), I'm waiting till I find a fulltime job, then I'm buying the ltd edition (26.99, I saw it for). HMV is aiming certain CDs under 23 bucks, they sell shitloads of those.

In out local HMV, most of the CDs are $26-30. You can buy them cheaper on amazon.ca and they have a better selection too. But a CD I wanted to buy, an AvB mix from a couple years ago (Transparence I think it was) was $43 before taxes.

A guy I know who owns his own music label but works distribution for HMV, he sends me CDs to review yet he tells me that he personally aims to sell the CDs that he does for 12.99 or 13.99 and he says he sells a boatload of them. Hatiras's first CD was HUGE! for the Canadian Market and the price certainly helped. Next time you are in HMV, look at the prices, if you really want to buy something, buy from Amazon.ca and make sure you buy 2-3 CDs and then you don't pay shipping, it is still cheaper than HMV's store (even tho now HMV is using amazon.ca). CD buying is all about price shopping at times because you know they make a fortune off these CDs. I always look at used CD stores, you won't believe how many people buy the new CDs then hate it and sell it to places like used CD stores.

It's ridiculous, I mean how much can it cost to make the CD? And the rest is profit for the store, record comany and artists.
One time I was at Future Shop and they had Tiesto's first album for $14 and then I went to HMV, exact same CD, $26.99!
I'll try looking for a used CD store, that's a good idea.
