800,000; iTunes Europe!!

Apple launched iTunes in Europe a week ago. The initial figures are very impressive. A total of 800,000 downloads were sold in the three new stores. They managed to sell 450,000 songs in the UK alone. The exact figures for France and Germany are not available.

iTunes Europe is therefore only just behind America, where a million downloads were sold in the first week.

Very popular and Im sure its very good for pop / chart / CD singlew released stuff but I bet its crap for really quality Trance, House and Techno.
