having it on vinyl is ok... but unless u r a DJ then its not really needed... if u have the song on MP3... u can put it to CD as a .wav file and so play it... put it to CD as the .mp3 file so u can store it... mp3 files are very versatile.. and very easyily accesable... you can enque 100's of songs in winamp.. sitback and listen.. with vinyl u have to swap after each song...

To mostdj's out there, vinyl is just so a better feel, for me it is
mp3s are fine for home, but you show no support of a producer by spreading mp3, your giving that person a name but no credit
I'm the first to admit i have mp3s but i buy vinyl when i find something i really like or if a particular artist puts something out

times are changing so is the media we use its only a matter of time till dj's use mp3 data discs to do thweir sets

bass quality in digital personally doesn't do it for me like vinyl and thats why it will also be my choice

I'm a DJ so I'm bias towards vinyl but I do rip them to MP3 and burn to CD both for backups and ease of use, but mixing MP3 is nothing compared to mixing vinyl... Wink

I´m a Professional Dj since 5 years ago already, and I loooove Vinyl, of course. But Mp3 is awesome. Easy to transfer. Less money to spend. Easy to play. Good resistance. Longer life´s time. And now, with a CDJ 1.000, you can even make scracthes on it. What it mean =- A SUPER VINYL .

Mp3 rules, hopefully, it will never die ! ;)

Cheers
Gui

I voted MP3 since I don't have a turntable.. however without Vinyl those mp3s wouldn't exist. :p

I vote VINYLZZ... The only reason 4 it is that I can't spin mp3's on my tables, and if just want to listen to the music I can rip the vinyl to mp3...

I always buy then Vinyl when available if I like the MP3. Its a shame that record companies don't recognise people likle myself. If it weren't for MP3's then I wouldn't buy half of the vinyl that I do.
