What happens when the DJ at a jam-packed club turns the music off? Well, there are basically two possibilities. Firstly, the crowd goes silent and everyone looks at each other in surprise. The second possibility is that the clubbers all carry on singing the lyrics to the track just played. If you want know how it feels when the track, which is being screamed out by thousands of voices, is your own, then ask Franky Tunes and Charly Lownoise alias Starsplash.

The two likeable DJs and producers have not only rocked all dance floors across Germany, they have also caused a real stir in the German charts. At the start of the year, Franky and Charly went on a tour of Germany with none other than Scooter. They provided ideal support for HP, Rick and Jay on their “We Like It Loud Tour 2004” and their new single “Can U Kick It” originates from that period. The anthem became a battle cry for the tour and was sung by thousands of voices over and over again. “Can U Kick It” is based on a football chant sung for all Bundesliga teams and gets the emotions flowing each Saturday across Germany. “Can U Kick It” is a cert for the top of the Media Control Charts, especially with Euro 2004 in Portugal about to start.
