There's been a lot of artist releases this year, but my favourite thing I've bought this year is ID&T Trance 2003 Vol2. (even though it's from 2003).
I'm going to buy ID&T Trance 2004, which was been released this year tho.
PS, for those who are up on what's being released and whatnot, could you post all the albums and comps you know of that have been released this year! Very Happy )

Hyper's Wired, which was up all month, is a well-earned spot, easily the best breaks CD so far this year, beating Meat Katies Bedrock Breaks by a nose.

Hybrid and Way out West's upcoming albums are looking spectacular, and I've heard great things about Sasha's Involver as well.

GU 026 - James Lavelle in Romania is a great addition to the GU series, I hope it continues with an artist as talented as James in the next installment

Lee Burridge - 24:7 - Not quite as good as Danny Howell's set, it still captured a good feeling, I quite enjoyed this one as well.

Pako & Frederick - Atlantic Breakers - This one is a bit eclectic, I'd only reccomend it to serious breaks fans.

Darren Emerson & Mutiny's Underwater Episode 2 is easily the best House album released so far this year, I can't wait to see who stars in Episode 3

Dave Seaman & Phil K - The Therapy Sessions - This one is gold, a great Progressive/Breaks set. I'm glad I bought it.

James Zabiela's Sound in Motion scored very well with me, it was a very refreshing look at EDM as a whole.

Hernan Cattaneo's Renaissance: The Master Series installment is a decent Progressive compilation, but nothing really too new, or innovative.

Sander Kleinenberg's Renaissance CD is definately one of the masterpieces this year. It has the best flow I've heard in a long time on a Prog CD, and it all fits together very well as a whole. Great job by Sander.

Sandra Collin's Perfecto CD is showing a darker side of the US scene, and a rather refreshing look at the Perfecto label as a whole

Probably my favorite trance release this year was Max Graham's Shine. Boasting a little of that uplifting feeling, without losing the heavy basslines usually associated with the less cheesy side of the genre.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now, but my overall vote definately goes to Wired

I'm totally agree with RayvinAzn. Shine album is a beautiful travel from melodic and relaxing vibes to deep dark and nasty beats. Shine is great.
