Post Post subject: Most likeable euro-trance album Reply with quote

My favourite two are:

Vengaboys - The Party Album
Alice Deejay - Everything Begins with an E

'The Party Album' is certainly cheesy, but the songs are catchy and there is a good amount of different styles on the album - Up & Down, We're Going to Ibiza, Paradise, You & Me.

'Everything Begins with an E' is not as varied but the Alice Deejay style works and they seemed to be able to produce decent melodies for each song, even if they were similar in terms of the structures and sounds.

Scooter - 24 Carat Gold
2 Unlimited - No Limits

Probably those two, but I mostly like only one or two tracks off an euro-dance album... the rest of the tracks is often crap..

EDIT: Add Gigi D'Agostino - L'amour Toujours album Wink

At this rate you're probably right and posts by you and Spherix are probably not helping with that issue. It's quite simple; if you have nothing of any value to contribute, then don't bother.

Eurotrance in my mind always = CHEESE and CRAP

the best "EURO" album was Real McCoy - Another Night

I am a true trance fan and as such am quite picky about the commercial material I like. It was with that in mind that I began this thread. I was interested to know not only what the commercial fans' favourite are, but what made the grade for the less commercially inclined amongst us.

Like I said if you don't have anything useful to say then why say anything at all? You don't like cheese and that's your perogative but others aren't goint to change their musical tastes just because you critisise it, so why bother?

Old Skool Euro pop stuff is a bit cheesily funny in a way.

2 Unlimited would be my favourite Smile

The cheesiest album I've got, sorry, most eurodance album I've got is "Now Dance '97" and in all fairness tracks like 'DJ Quicksilver - Bellissima' and "Chicane - Offshore" were really good back then! I'd go as far as to say "Offshore" is a classic!? Smile

Yes, I realise that you did actually contribute something useful to this thread in the end. However the fact was that you still made a remark about not flaming a cheese thread. As though you were doing me a favour by holding back from behaving as you normally would. My previous post was advice to you for how you approach all cheese threads from now on. I hope this clears that issue up for you. Oh, and by the way you should remind yourself who started this unpleasantness with silly posts before calling me an idiot.

Hehe I don't mind people calling euro-trance cheese. I think it's cheese too. But that doesn't have to mean that it sucks as well. You just have to take it for what it is. Offshore is definitely a good track, yes. Cool

I didn't tell you what to do. I advised you on how to improve your behaviour on this forum. I've made my point clear but it's entirely your choice as to whether you take it on board or not.

btw thanks to Cooler and Viceroy for their adult opinions. Perhaps some of you others should try to follow suit eh?
