Tonsillitis

Has anyone ever had this?

I've a sneaky feeling im coming down with it because swollowing is as painful as hell and the back of my mouth is a little swollan up.

Time to get to the docs I'd say.

I had my adenoids removed....they usually get removed with tonsils.

I've had some pretty nasty viruses...only 2 rank near the top

1.Whooping Cough (feck knows how I got it, the health dept. had to be notified when I did....you cough like mad....your throat becomes swollen)
2.Stomach Flu (I caught it 4 times in a year and I know how I got it but I'm not exactly telling, all I will say, it was one person's fault but I have not talked with her or met her in over a year and I've been healthy since)
the first time I caught the stomach flu, I dropped 15 pounds in 10 days and nearly ended up in the hospital. It is meaner than the flu....that goes away within 72 hrs. This stays for 7-10 days and nothing you do will make it better, you throw up everything, even liquids.

try getting glandular feever, its like tonsolitus just 10x WORSE !!! Twisted Evil

I get it all the time... usually 3 times a year or more. I had my tonsils removed to try and prevent it, but somehow they screwed up and the tonsilitus still continues to come back.

The pain is less but Im still going to pop down the docs and see if they can sort me out.
