Have you ever bought a compilation only to find out that the best track on the comp is a track that you weren't expecting to be good? You bought the comp for the tracks by AvB, or Ferry, or Chicane, or Motorcycle, but some of the best tracks were ones you hadn't heard of?
I recently finally bought Gatecrasher: Resident Transmission 2 and one of the tracks that really impressed me was H4Z - Northern Riser. Absolutely brilliant tune, I was really impressed!
Also on A Trip in Trance mixed by Hiver & Hammer the track Northern Lights by Hemstock & Jenning was another fantastic track.
Finally on Godskitchen Direct, GTR vs. The Shrink - Nervous Breakdown was one of the best tracks on the comp and that's saying something, looking at the tracklist.
So what are some sleeper powerhouse trance tracks on compilations? zHave you ever been pleasantly surprised?

robert and jaron- walls of indonesia

is probably one of those tracks that i wouldnt of heard if it wasnt on a armins transparence comp.

Also speaking of armin and comp. he did mention releasing a new one called "A state of trance 2004"
Should be interesting.

Well some times you think you can buy a comp just to be happyly supprised but when you think you will there is only bad tracks... so I think it must be some good artist on the comp

Trance Arena always surprises me with great traxx by little known djs

le soleil - crying
clapheads - everybody clap
e-craig - drumbeats
auria pozzi - joe_le_taxi

buy it...it's better than future trance
coz it's less cheesy (at least you never find Scooter in it)

I got some weird, underground compliation a long time ago, and the whole thing was terrible, except for one song:

Secret World - Psychopath

Surprisingly good, but it wouldn't surprise me if nobody has heard of it either
