alright, well im DJing a party in highschool where everyone is into rap and hip-hop. can you guys please list some singles down, that you think is a tight song that would be bangin at a party. dont list any of those gangsta raps... thats just not right, and none of those smokin weed songs.

well, for some really quality underground stuff...look at "the people under the stairs" (PUTS), not all their stuff is party material, but 'San Francisco Kinghts" and " Acid Raindrops" are mellow ones that'll go down well when the energy isnt too high, people are relaxed but need a beat.
everypne there will know that shite ludacris song stand up, so try the fatboy slim mix,
i dont know any otehr hip hop, xcept some german ones...if ur a pirate and will play burnt cds...then search the net for "Ich lebe fur hiphop" by dj tomekk and RZA...Tomekk has also done collaborations with other famous US hip hop stars that few people outside germany would know of...so search for him...they'll go down well and not even teh biggest wiggers there will have ever heard it before. Other quality European groups that sound good to anyone who likes hip hop are "Iam", "Deichkind", and "Massive Toene"...OH OH.... Deichkind - limit...that is so good....and i dont normally like hiphop!

Anyway, I got one recommendation:
Leftfield feat. Roots Manuva - Dusted

hmmm, it doesnt matter if ppl already know the song or whatever. it would be pretty good if they know the song, cuz i've been to other parties where someone else is DJing and he played some hip hop stuff that ppl didnt even know, and ppl started to complain cuz they wanted some songz to request and he didnt have shit. oh and it has to be some american music.
