personally i think an id card that will combine all other id cards such as;
driving license
passport
is a good idea, and having the cards contain more information about us such as;
retinal scans
finger prints
will help keep forgery down and so stop terrorism

IMO it won't stop terrorism its an excuse by the governement to force ID cards on us. After all the terrorist is more than likely gonna be someone who lives in the country to avoid drawing too much attention to themselves.

Good idea in my opinion, if you have nothing to hide it won't hurt to carry one and when little shitty kids try to get served these will prove they're not old enough & will have to turn to paying someone older to buying it for them or something

Me Neither. Frankly though I don't see what harm they could do.

That website is pretty extreme. I mean, they compare driver's lisence fingerprinting to the Nazi identification cards? Umm... I think those two things have a TOTALLY different purpose, if I'm not mistaken...
I live in the US, but I'm not a US citizen... so I don't really know how I feel about it. I guess it would be no big deal for me, because I already have to carry around a Green Card with my picture, fingerprint, and a scan strip on the back of it that contains literally almost my entire life story. It's a great form of ID... but I definitely would hate to lose that thing (besides the fact that it takes like a year to get one).
Really, the only people who should be upset about the possible introduction of a National ID are the people who have something to hide... which isn't me. I'm just a normal, law-abiding person.
I personally think they could be quite handy.
lol... This reminds me of a crazy teacher I once had who told our class that the government should implant a satellite-trackable microchip into every person in the US, so they can pinpoint your position at any time. Mr. Kilber (I called him Kilby to tick him off)... He was nuts.
