ULTRAFUSION MUSIC FESTIVAL
The 28-29th of May 2004, will see music industry professionals, promoters, club owners and enthusiasts from Scandinavia, The Baltic States & Europe will converge in Norrköping, Sweden for the 1st Annual non-profit Ultrafusion. Ultrafusion encourages the next generation to come out of their bedrooms and garages and express their musical abilities!

The happening is also helping those who need it; the children of the world.

It’s not like Miami or Amsterdam where it’s just the usual array of big-name stars. This is all about giving young talented DJs/producers a break and the opportunity to play on a proper sound system in front of a good crowd.

Sweden...too far away but looks good none the less.

The lineup is growing everyday and the positive reactions we have gotten the last few weeks have been enormus. Still we have over 4 months until the opening, but allready we have a very strong lineup that will suite everyone. We have House, Techno, Trance and soon also a Drum & Bass floor combined with Hip Hop & R&B and everything in between, all for a good cause; charity.

The fourth floor will be a divided floor with Drum & Bass on the friday and on the saturday it well be Hip Hop & R&B during the day and deeper and darker stuff during the night. A little something for everyone ! More updates will come during the upcoming two weeks.

The fourth headliner of the total of 6 that we are presenting is a very interesting new project called Retarded Funk which consists of Yamazaki (Andres Garcia), Wawi (Rouzbeh Delavari) and BadBaz (Christie Baz), together they form this explosive act focusing on house music in all forms. Their diverse backgrounds are clearly reflected in the productions - unique, but always with a funky and uplifting groove.

The fifth headliner of the total of 6 that we are presenting is the italian Giorgio Ponticelli, which have been playing in Sweden before and delivered a few massive trance sets, this time Giorgio is back, but he will give us a very special techno set instead. This is something to look out for !

The sixth headliner will be announced on the 1st of March and we promise you all that this is something that you wouldn't like to miss. We can say as much as, he is starting his worldtour with Oliver Klein in April and during this tour he will doing over 40 gigs all over the world and one of them is at the Ultrafusion Music Festival.

Retarded Funk (swe)
Retarded Funk is Yamazaki (Andres Garcia), Wawi (Rouzbeh Delavari) and BadBaz (Christie Baz), together they form this explosive act focusing on house music in all forms. Their diverse backgrounds are clearly reflected in the productions - unique, but always with a funky and uplifting groove.

They combine trippy elements from electronic dance music with influences from 80’s pop and rock, the result is an innovative mixture that assures dancefloor madness! With an ambition to make people move and smile, they are currently working on their first LP.

Stay tuned and keep your ears open, these guys are ready to take on the world!

Giorgio Ponticelli (ita)
Giorgio Ponticelli had his first release in 1999 with "The Moon And The Sun" under the Doktor Noize DJ guise. Soon after this he received a lot of exposure both as a DJ and as a producer, the following months he produced a big number of songs for some of the best selling compilations in italy with styles ranging from techno & trance to hardcore gabber.

His big breakthrough came in 2001 when he released his anthem "Trance Unity" on the german label Boost Records, a few months later his DJ career took off and he played at some of the most important international events such as the Love Parade and Nature One in Germany.

He was also invited to countries such as USA, Norway, Sweden and of course Italy. Since 2003 Giorgio also hosts his own radio show, “The Subtraxx Experience”, on the world’s biggest online radio station Digitally Imported! This is only the beginning though, expect to hear a lot more from this italian talent!.
