Trance isn't as bad for these as other music genres, but what are some electronic artists who made one good/well-liked tune then disappeared?

They got into an arguement and Ferry threw vdm out of his studio and basically told him to never come back. Apparently vdm is a very hard person to work with.

Binary Finary is Matt Laws who is also Nuw Idol and also Sonic Kross. Also not one hit wonder.

Energy 52 arent one hit wonders either. Harald Bluechel is also Cosmic Baby and Visions of Shiva with PvD. And Paul Schmitz Moormann is also known as Kid Paul (i think.)

And the members of BBE are also The Age Of Love Wink

The most ridiculous i've read though so far in this thread... Neo Cortex. Are you kidding me? Jan Hendrik Gessner and Lars Palmas are certainly not one hit wonders. Ever hear of Gollum & Yanny? Bassraiders? Cosmic Commando.

There are less 1 hit wonders than you might think.

lol! sorry i didnt at all mean to come across as harshly as i did.. Just i'm quite a fan of Lars Palmas Smile Especially the Cosmic Commando alias. And as for energy 52 i know that because I love visions of shiva Smile Some of PvD's earlier stuff is so underated. And as for binary finary.. well I looked up other aliases of him a long time ago to see if he had produced under any other name and he had!

Maybe Ferry is the one who is hard to work with. It is really too bad they haven't produced more, though if I'm not mistaken they have produced a track called Drafting under Veracocha. Carte Blanche is a brilliant track and possibly my favourite trancetrack ever.

10th Planet - Ghosts was a nice tune. Didn't know they/he had another track though. The VdM mix of Ghosts is really good.

No, York has nothing to do with ATB, except for the collaboration on "The Fields Of Love".

York = Jörg "York" Stenzel and his older brother Torsten Stenzel who is behind a million aliases and is also a co-producer of Taucher (Ralph Armand Beck) for example.

The other Tenth Planet track is "Walk On Water" which is also damn good IMO, as well as the Barakka Remix of it. But Tenth Planet (= Gez Dewar & Nick Hale) are also Heliotropic so they aren't really a one hit wonder either.

York - Reachers of Civilisation is in my opinion York's best track, and one which nobody mentioned. They have released other stuff which was popular so I don't consider them a one hit wonder.
10th Planet, on the other hand, though they might have released anther song, I think is because their second song was not popular and other aliases by the same producer are not nearly as popular or even very well-known at all.
