I think he did a rather good job with Great Wall, much better than his bunk Bunnka album, and rather horrid Swordfish comp. He was more of a pioneer in the late 90's, definately one of the forerunners of the scene, before the big Tiesto/Corsten explosion.

But overall, I do agree...Voyage into Trance, Tranceport, and his Perfecto Presents CDs were some of his best work. Too bad we can't bring back the past though. The scene has changed and Oakenfold is just changing with the times, and dealing with not being #1 anymore.

find his 1998 stuff..especially the EM with tongy at cream 6th BDAY
