One of my freinds has just about every release by KLF, he's missing some of the more rare tunes they did tho, very rare now as they destroyed all of the copies ages ago. Been digging him out the rare ones through one means or another.

Any fans of them, kind of a scooter back the the 80's with all the rip offs from other tunes they did?

Scooter are forever praising KLF.

3AM (on Nessaja) is a KLF song name lol.

Maybe this is why Scooter like them, as they can relate to them ripping other peoples tunes off Laughing

I was a huge KLF fan. I never understood why they were hated on for being so "out there" sometimes, but they had some timeless releases.

Oo!!! I really am up North here! Laughing

I've always liked them, ever since 1990 or so i first heard them, the same time i heard Orbital for the first time too. I have about every KLF release in my collection, except some rarest ones which i have never found anywhere. My collection also includes their live recorded Chillout CD from 1990 which is amazing IMO.

And yes, Scooter use KLF's track titles and lyrics alot, KLF is/has always been their idol group. Some Scooter track included "..justified and ancient of Mu Mu.." or something along those lines which relates to KLF's track Justified And Ancient. Scooter also seem to use everything from everyone without permission nowadays. Evil or Very Mad

Yeah they've ruipped much from the klf.. Like one of the leadmelodies in Posse... and "Respect to the man in the Icecream van" is like a tribute to Klf... Smile
