Anyone heard the remix of Cherie Blair´s "When I´m 64" performance in China..? I´ve heard that it is one of the most popular tunes at Ibiza and Cyprus for the time being.. Smile

nope not heard it, and i dont want to, seen plenty of news reports on tv about it Sad

what a effing piss take this is, i wonder if this reflects the way the music industry is going, theres all those artists trying get themselves heard and known through hard graft, and here someone knocks up a tune from a few second sample of pm's wife, hell it even sounded horrible, like a strangled cat choking on a bone, only reason why it was used was to make a quick buck, and it'll disapear as fast as it took to make the damn thing.. not what music should be about.. ok it maybe fun, but not my kinda fun i guess..

oh and cherie blair, if from the offchance you ever read this...

please, for the sake of humanity, never ever sing again, im sure i could hear dogs dying, outside that room,

I haven't heard it either and i agree i don't want to either It's one of those songs that will get released get to no1 in the charts and a few weeks later no one will listen to it cos the novelty has worn off and will then go the way of the Macarena (hopefully) Laughing

Basically Cherie Blair did a bit of karoke for the news camera's when she visited Beijing a student was said to have shouted out "sing us a song" which was the Beatles song When im 64. Someone has then sampled it and changed it into some club track which has been playing in Ibiza. However the people at the Ministry of Sound are saying they haven't heard the record yet which has led to speculation that its either a bootleg remix or it doesn't exist at all.
