Your right, first time I listend to it that melody was instantly familer. I can't think of what tune its come from though. Will have a browse down the old trance comps and see if anything turns up.

Just a guess but maybe a remake of 4 Voice - Eternal Spirit from '92-'93? Also many Ayla tracks seem to be based on sounds and elements of some 4 Voice tracks.
I can't be sure as i haven't heard the "Unknown" track you're talking about.

Good song, though I haven't heard it before. The lead synth is rather old sounding compared to the new ones today anyway, so it's probably an older song

Also check out DJ Kaycee - Escape, Escape (Fast Rave Mix), & Escape 2000. The similarities are unmissable.
"Escape" was one of the first songs that got me into trance.
I'm assuming 4 Voice's "Eternal Spirit" came first though, if it was in '92 or '93.

Yep, 4 Voice - Eternal Spirit came originally out in '93 (Fax Records) and Kaycee - Escape in '97 (Go For It!), so 4 Voice aka Pete Namlook is the original artist.
There is NO "Fast Rave Mix" of Escape, must be a mislabel, i believe that we can thank again of the always oh so kind world of mislabeled mp3s! I have all the official mixes so i can strongly doubt there is a mix like that.
Could it actually be Prezioso - Raise Your Power from '95 (Bonzai / Tetsuo Records) ? It uses the same melody than Eternal Spirit and Escape and is a quite fast paced track unlike all the mixes of Escape.
