Smile Yeah...me got this too, came yesterday!!! Gotta say it's a seriously brilliant album, love the way it kicks off, one of the best I've bought this year. I'd give it 8-9/10 - why? well personally I'm not too keen on tracks 12 to 16 - a little techie for my liking but hey, that's just me so don't be put off people - it ROCKS! Really enjoyed the bonus dvd too...punk video really good!!

In all honesty, it was about average for me...it's the second time he's put Indigo back-to-back with Punk on CD, and that in itself is bad enough, but the fact that they are both his productions really seems kind of...well, lame i suppose would be the word. Another thing about the CD I didn't really enjoy was the use of a song like "Nothing", then going right into "Velvet Morning". The two tracks really don't belong together, imo. The mixing was better than Nyana, if i do say so myself, but i don't think it made up for the fairly poor track selection on the CD.

Overall, I'd say this CD looks a bit like the Top Ten Trance hits from back in April/May.

Fair point about the Holden & Thompson tune, I've never been a fan of any remix of that tune to be honest. probably the best track on there would be RObert Gitelman and punk, great live with the crownd interaction. Greater sense of being their with that.

I'll probably be buying this sometime soon since it was released here for once... The stores will probably get some copies in.

Definately NOT Holdens best work...but still, I thought it was better than most of the tracks on that CD...the vocals are just a bit annoying (especially in stereo).

i bought it mainly because my name's inside. Wink

also, for the memories. i remember when the recording started. that was almost as intense as new years day in the same venue.

i, too, thought the additions of indigo and punk back-to-back was kinda cheesy, but if anyone is allowed to pull it off it's ferry. so i cant exactly knock him for that.

the cd gets a 7-10 for me. there are some ok spots on it, but again it was mainly for the memories.

if they could only have recorded the last half of his entire set that night. OMFG! ferry went HARD! lots of guitar heavy stuff at the end of the night if i recall. whoever gave him their copy of out of the blue to play as a closer, i would NEVER play that record again. EVER!

i cant wait for 8/29. my labor day weekend begins on SUCH a good note!

8/28 derrick carter
8/29 ferry corsten
8/30 marco v
8/31 armin van buuren

sick sick and more sick.

Just bought this album when I was on vacation in Canada's most western province, British Columbia. I really liked it! Extremely uplifting and tons of great tunes on there.
Good point about the track selection. Seperately, all the tunes sound good, but when mixed in that order, they lose something. Still, the mixing was good especially for a live set rather than a studio-created mixed CD. And even though there were a couple spots where I thought the tracks didn't go together properly, it still sounded good.
Oh yes, and I haven't heard the original version of H&T's Nothing, but I prefer the Hiver & Hammer remix to the 93 Returning Mix which was on this CD.
Oh, and the bonus DVD was a nice extra. Smile
Overall, 8.5/10

The DVD addition is a really good feature, allthough I wish they would have put more in club stuff on it as that was the best feature of it. I also got hold of mixed live by Mr Tall Pall, whcih also has a DVD with it, but all thats on that is the mix in 5.1 surround sound, no filming of the mix or anything.
