Yep, his first, and this album is soooooo good
Beautifull trance, beautifull vocals, this is one album not to miss

I got a copy of the album last week in my (for that occasion) favourite music store here in Zurich. The only copy avaible, so I could not let this opportunity go, all the more as I have never found an online store selling it (what are amazon.* doing???). And for the nearly £10 request, I could hardly resist...

So after 1 week of heavy listening, I can give you my point of view:

1) if you expect Armin van Buuren the remixer, as we all know him for his awesome remixes, you will be quite disappointed, as the direction chosen for this album is much slower, sometimes much closer to some ambiant / chill out ambiance rather than to uplifting trance...

2) One good point: all tracks presented on this album are original ones and differ for the already existing and known versions (except maybe yet another day that I did not know before): Blue fear, communication, ...

3) The 76 club:
Every copy has a unique code printed on the cd surface.
I tried to connect to the site but: it is for the moment only in Dutch and it does not work...

Conclusion: to buy or not to buy?
I had to get a copy of this disc for my little collection (>300 original cds), but it is maybe not the best I have ever bought.
Uplifting fans should maybe pass their way and maybe better buy a good sampler...

I like the single "sunburn" but I feel that his album would be better if he did a remake of his hit 12' single "communication" a lot of Armin's fan are expecting that track in his 76 debut.

The album is alright, some classics and some of his more recent stuff. I was hiping he was gonna have a bnch of new stuff like when Cosmic Gate and Kai Tracid release artist albums.

Song for the ocean and Precious are really the biggest on that album, for me it's one of the best trance-albums ever.

im a poor bastard that lives downunder so prob wont get released here for another two/three months. Cant wait to hear it-probably kicks arse like his compilations.

well, i havnt had a chance to hear it, altho i did buy a sample from the album on vinyl a few weeks back and it is very good, as someone else said, it isnt the most uplifting trance, but some of the vocals and riffs are lovely, esp. song for the ocean! lovely track, its a good one to start a set off with.

I've finally had a chance to hear it and I have to say i was pleasantly suprised its not his normal type of music but i enjoyed it.
