Anytime a dj tries to mix 15 + tracks onto a disc i can say almost for sure that i will not like it. 20 tracks on a disc ... that is less than 4 minutes per tune. Carefully select your tunes, lay them out and mix them well and you will have a good mix. Try to mix every damn popular track from the past six months regardless of the genre ... well then you end up with a judge jules set.

I do agree that a lot of them that have the iffy 20 tracks rule can be rushed and badly put together but there are some cracking ones out there. Trance Nation 2 by Ministry (oohh er!) has 20 tracks on each CD and I regard it as a cracking trance set.
The Judge needs to released another 'Tried & tested' compilation as its a cracker. Each CD takes a different style musically and each one features 14-16 tracks.
