Post subject: Silence - Does anybody know who is doing the new version? |
|
|
Heard a great new version for Delerium's song "Silence" on the weekend.
Would really like to get hold of it. Was wondering if possibly dj Tiesto was doing a remake of it? Hopefully somebody will know.

Erm...Tiesto already done a mix of it ...it was also the most widely played mix around. Dj tiesto's power dub i think it was called.

| there were also 'sanctuary' and airscape mixes amongst many others, but as with the tiesto one, you should've heard them by now unless ur DJ is well behind the times by 18 months

i disagree... the pvd bootleg kicks ass.
the original of delerium didn't have sarah mclachlan (album version) which is more a chillout effort, but there is a barthezz vs. delerium - silence on the move bootleg out as well

sorry but that is not correct
the original version of Silence on the Karma cd most definitely has Sarah
McLachlan doing the vocals - check the production credits on the cd
there are two different versions of the Delerium/PvD bootleg: "Angel Of
Silence" uses the Sarah McLachlan vocals and is a really nice synergy...
"Silent Angel" uses that horrid acapella somebody recorded (couldn't
even get the vocals right ) and neither Delerium nor SM have anything to
do with that one
the Barthezz/Delerium "synergy" uses that same awful accapella :p

if you bought the single, with the airscape mix and the tiesto mix on - the album version isn't sarah mclachlan !!!

| I just downloaded silent angel to see whether it was bad and the word EWWWW comes to mind, its hideous, and such an injustice to 2 of the best tunes of our time
