i'm looking for a new dj. i want some harder trance. i have no idea who to look for. i look at all these names and reviews and stuff but it's not enough. can anyone out there help me in my search of hard trance. thanks a bunch

Different people have different opinions on "Hard Trance", which varies from Omar Santana, to Flutlicht, to the Warp Brothers and Voodoo & Serano....hehe, sounds like a good idea to just go to the store and listen to sound clips

The two "hardest"(and best) that I know are Sandra Collins (Only albums I know of are TrancePort.3 and Cream) and Paul Oakenfold (only album I know is The Swordfish Album). But if ur really looking for hard trance then check out Paul Oakenfold, otherwise you could try Sandra Collins, because she is pretty hard trance, but I'd still recommend Paul Oakenfold more, even if I do like Sandra Collins more, but that's just my opinion... did I make any sense to you? Laughing

uum.. i'm pretty sure Omar Santana is hardcore, and i don't think Paul Oakenfold is hard trance either. Very Happy

Oakenfold is not hard trance. Oakenfold is more progessive trance.

Tranceport 3 hard trance? I wouldn't put it in that category, oakenfold? More popy these days, old mixes are good trance.

Probably have a look at Tidy's releases for some Hard Trance boarding on the hard house line.

I guess the hard trance I like isn't true hard trance- kind of melodic/hard- acts like Flutlicht, S.H.O.K.K., Alphazone, ect. Not into really hard trance that much.
