Tranceport (Transport) CD Series

This year's 'resolution' is to collect all the 'essential' trance CD releases. Been doing pretty well upto know, completing the magik, ITWT and gathering some artist releases.

I've got Paul Oakenfolds original Tranceport release and its very very good but after some searcghing I've found the rest of the series. vols2-5. Herd a few samples from them and they sound top quality. Just wondeirng what the vibe was and your opinions of them?

there is also a sixth one mixed by Trendroid, don't expect rest of the series to be like Oakenfold's Tranceport you might like the second one by dave ralph but The series gets progier and darker so if you are into oakenfolds Tranceport ,magik, ITWT i wouldn't recommend the rest.

Cheers, might check them out. Got a taste for just about most prog stuff. Always like to vary it about a bit.

yea i have tranceports 1,2, and 3.

Tranceport 1 is, of course, magnificent. the cd that got me into it all.

Tranceport 2 is excelent. More varied than Tranceport 1.. mixed by Dave Ralph it has some excelent tracks. I highly reccommend it

Tranceport 3 is so-so. It is mixed by Sandra Collins and I'm not a big fan of hers. it does end with Rank 1 - Airwave which was absolutely mindblowing the first time i heard it way back when...

I havent heard 4 5 or 6... but i can wholehartedly reccommend the first 2.
