looking for a song?

hi, I know this is probably going to be real hard but I am looking for the name or artist of a song from the early to mid 1990's that had a real monk/trance type sound with chants , i know that doesnt narrow it down much but it is driving me crazy , they use to play it all the time in detroit clubs and I was wondering if anyone could gimme some leads to try, thanks!!!!! hyme

Only song that comes to my mind isnt from the early 90's..but its an awesome song! Mystre & Dyloot - Eternal Om

Sunbeam maybe? They used monk-like vocals at the beginning of some of their songs (Energy & Love is Paradise come to mind).

hmm are Sunbeam that old? I thought that they started in da middle-end of the 90's (like 96-97) Embarassed

I think it was in 1994 that they released their first track, Outside World. So that would be mid-90's. But most of their stuff was released later. But those were the only songs I could think of with sort-of monk-like vocals. Very Happy
