nice to see someone trying to take another direction, alothough im sure the intention is postive, it does have its downfalls

1) mp3 isnt as good as the cd or the vinyl
2) what happens if the mp3 gets lost or corrupted? you've paid for the music, do you simply repay for the mp3
3) you simply dont get to hold it in your hands, quite often a fair bit of owning vinyl or cd is that its in your hands, there often good time and effort spent in the presentation of the materials, the cd case, cover, inset leaflets and bonus stuff, sometimes you really feel someones gone and worked hard to make the music, but also that the rest is upto the same standard, plus its often nice to see the artists thoughts and coments Smile

as for if this mp3 is suitable substitue for cds/vinyl, nope doesnt look like it will be,

but it is an alternative distribution method, after all its really the music that counts and that the artists get rewarded for their hard efforts Smile
