Post subject: Techie question re. lasers & lighting control |
|
|
Does anyone know how easy is it to use DMX to program laser shows?
Can anyone recommend a laser/controller package?
I was thinking about getting some Abstract DMX controlled kit and a green laser (££££!!!!) and creating shows using Axis DMX controller (this is software for DMX rather than hardware http://www.axisdmx.com/home.html).
The other thing I need to try and get hold of is the basic scanning & pan/tilt mirror heads (DMX controlled) such as that on the Abstract Futurescan (except without the lamp... do you know what I mean?).
TIA. N.

Where did you get it from? For that amount of money, you could expect to be able to control it using some sort of DMX hullabaloo. What's the brand/model? I've been looking at some Redline stuff.
