Techno-head amongst Trancers

Yo people. Am new here, and I get the feeling that this a trance loving community. Am I right? Very Happy

Either way, I look forward to interesting discussions with all of you. Wink

A bit about myself, I'm into techno, mainly minimal or detroit, or anything of quality with a hard edge. I do some spinning and have started creating some music.

4-5 years ago I only listened to techno-music....but now I'm addicted to trance/goa/psy....still enjoy a good techno-tune though Smile

if u dont tell me that ben sims is tehcnically the greatest jockey on the planet, u wouldnt know techno if i spun it on ur nose.

and to all the tranceaddicts, it doesnt take much to mix the final 8 bars of a track into the fisrt 8 bars of the next. i mean lets get real here. i havent heard a single trance dj, big or small put on a decent display of "real" mixing in my entire life. and b4 u say, "hold on, ur not a treanceaddict, what would u know?", and start pullin out names like PVD and systemF, beleive me, i been there, done that. so dont start! =P ive heard pretty much "the best" of evry genre live many a time, and the verdict is....... techno. not that i dont love it all of course. but there always has to be a winner. and trance is a distant 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th 6th, 7th or maybe even 8th? =P
btw, any heard finger lickin records latest salad of funky mutant disco breakage? "its finger lickin" ;)
