Does anyone know anything about DJ Mystik?

Dj Mystik aka Stijn Willekens comes from belgium. He started out playing minimalist funky techno and now his style changed into the groovier deephouse and techhouse. My fav. song from him is Unchained Melody.

Does anybody know if these tracks were actually produced by Mystik?
I've also heard there are two mystiks- one from Belgium and one from California- anybody got info?

The one from Cali is an asshole...literally, i know the girl that used to be his gf. Anyway, he spins mostly cheesy trance. A lot of Rollergirl/Movie remixes. His discography includes Ravin' Asia, PLUR, and PLUR2...all i can remember off the top of my head.

There are 2 dj msytik sites

the first one www.djmystik.com this artis is from californa

the other one is www.djmystik.org which is no more cause..but if u want his discography it will redirect u to another site and this guy has every single album that dj mystik did if u have stream load he will send it to you

dj mystik calls him self tony tran now he signed up a contract with blutonium records and soon to realese and album hopefully Cool

A lot are mis-labelled on Kazaa etc. Rolling Eyes

Unchained melody was not by him it was by someone else (I cant remember just now lol)

EDIT! - It was by DJ's Mythos & Cosmo

Also a few claimed tracks of his...

Just a dream - Is actually made by BLUMCHEN
The return - Is made by DJ VISAGE

I dont even know if he is even a producer. Rolling Eyes

well some people change names of tunes.....pitch them up...or down.....and sometimes stick missleading artist names to them Sad

and sadly sometimes people download if off some file-sharing programs...

but as far as i know DJ Mystik (tony tran) have produced his own stuff.....although many of his tunes lyrics are covers of other genres songs remixed into happy-techno... but i dont think he have stolen other artist's pieces Surprised

he is also famous by the huge amount of mixes he used to record into CD's that were produced in small quantities and are now considered rare and highly collectable by his fans

lol..... mainly the stuff he used to do under the project name 'DJ Mystik' is called this days: euro cheese... but hey....sometimes i just love hearing this happy stuff Laughing

Really, for all of you that think that there is only one, I know for sure, that there are many more than one. There is an asian one. And since I buy many of the CDs, HE IS A GUY! REALLY! many people are all saying, OH WELL I HEARD A GIRL SINGING! HELLO???!?!??! You havn't listened to many of his songs have you? For example listen to Japanese Girl. THE DJ DOESN'T HAVE TO SING! And there are many DJ Mystiks. Apparently there is a belgium one, and the one who did Butterfly, Angels Crying, Japanese Girl, Moonlight Shadow, Pink cloud, blade, Deep in My Heart, and etc, is the ASIAN ONE. this is undisputable. So all of you who think DJ Mystik is a female, you apparently don't know what a DJ is and havn't heard many of his songs. And for all of you who are disputing over his nationality, I can't go against you because i don't know which DJ Mystik you are talking about. (That is why there is so much confusion) Well, Ja ne!

not a fan of dj mystic or visage or the others. There are many songs with the same name, so just because someone says that dj mystic has a song named something and you know another producer to have a song by the same name, doesn't mean that dj mystic doesn't have a song of the same name. Just try to think of all the songs entitled "free" or "silence?"
