few underground artists are making a big break to the mainstream. but sometimes underground artist are way far better than those in the mainstream. I need a reaction or feed back on this.

in the music industry Mainstream is defined as artists who dominates the charts and the usual artists which people recognize while Underground are those who are potential artists who's popularity are the starting to climb as well as their singles.

Well then by mainstream I guess you're talking about artists like Darude that have broken to the mainstream. Artists like DJ Sammy were never underground, so they didn't really "make a break" for the mainstream.
I agree that often undergrounders are better than the mainstream. Mainstream tracks have to be suited for the general public and here at least the general public doesn't listen to any electronic music at all.
