Trance in Sydney

Hi,
I'm a student from France, I'm coming to Sydney (Australia) in July, for two years.
Is there trance events (parties!) around Sydney? Where can I find them?

well there is a lot of hard trance, hard house, NRG clubs around if thats what you are looking for.
But as for trance in general its not that big in australia, you do get the monthly night, but i think that has stopped due to some legal issues, but that may be sorted out soon however.

In France parties in clubs aren't very good. It's, in most clubs, teenagers who are more there to show off than to have a good time on good music...
The more interesting parties are organized each time in different places.

Is it the same thing in Australia?

Do you have trance festivals: you bring your tent for a few days of music?

i think i know what you are talking about
we call the "bush parties" i know we do get them in melbourne, not to sure of sydney, because i dont live there.... we get these parties every few months or so and they are all different
some are psy-trance others might be techno ect

I hope there will also be parties around Sydney.

The page is in french, but if you click on the links on the left you will find pictures of this three days trance festival. I didn't expect people to speak french, it's not a very useful language... Wink
