fast changing world, not only inovations evolve but music as well, from small record to cassette tapes to CD... do you prefer for the conventional way of mixing thru the use of Vinyl's or forget the old school and use lense instead of needles?

i love vinyl, the touch of it, the sound it makes, you never get to hear the same exact song twice

but cd's are handier, never used them myself, but i will get some cdj sooner or later (prolly later)

For hearing a mix, I'd say vinyl. For just playing in my house, CD. I hope DJs never stop using vinyl.

Not really got a preference really, some releases are Vinyl only so gotta have it. CD singles are cheaper and a bit more compact to carry around.

Well, you can always record you vinyls onto cd or tape and play them in your motor. More literal, I'd say it would be possible to slip a deck in your car, only if you drive on very flat roads and easy on the brake and accelleration

Hmmm...i must say i like Vinyl for quicker release, and getting harder to find tunes...but CDs are better for holding more info (i like to use Artist Albums for CDJing).

Overall, i think i'd go for CDs...i can wait for most tunes on Vinyl

I love the smell of a piece of vinyl fresh out of its sleeve but i dont have decks so i only have few decent tunes on vinyl. If i had endless money it'd be vinyl all the way!

you go to a night club and what do you see? Vinyl decks!
you might also see some CDJ's but every CDj is diffirent!

looping on one CDJ is diffirent to looping on another
but vinyl decks ARE ALL THE SAME(nearly)

I prefer vinyl greatly due to the fact that its there in your hands, you can see the music and just the overall feel of it. However i own two CDJ's as well and to be fair theyre extremely useful and i enjoy mixing with them. When it comes to mixing, CD decks are ahead as the pitch is digital so theres no fluctuation (before people say that technics dont vary slightly in pitch its bullshit, mine vary ever so slightly around the 0% mark). however i prefer vinyl at the end of the day due to sentimental value - its amazing to have a record which only a handful of people own. Just my opinions, Tom Smile
