Hi Crew...i'm a member for a few weeks now, even tcover is a newbe. Maybe you can explain why you don't like when people ask for mp3-links??!!

simple: i:Vibes does not allow any mp3 trading, requests or discussion.

We are AGAINST mp3's :)

We're not anti-mp3, but anti the illegal mp3s as they can be good for new artists for promotion

hmm...not clear. When can you say mp3 is illegal or not?? I can imagine that the mp3 can be good for new artists. But when there is someone on the forum who wants to know something more (for example his style of music) about a new or upcoming artist and he ask for a link where he can download something...what's wrong with that?? My point is, how can you know something more about a new artist if his stuff isn't supported?! Confused

We do not allow talking about links to mp3-files that are not made available for free download by the authors (like most records you can get in the stores), however, it is ok to link to mp3-files that are made available to the public by the authors (like mp3.com and similar).

You will find many such links in our dj's and producer forum!

a great resource for listening to new songs (in streaming form, not downloadable mp3) are record shop sites (ie) www.only-djs.com , www.dancegrooves.com, www.planetxusa.com , and I think Ivibes has a record store too Smile
