Riiiight here! Reason is a mighty cool piece of software. If you know how to use it, you can do really professional stuff with it. Tho when I get my pc next week I will switch to Cubase and use VST Instruments.

I like to use the sub-tractor synths as drum machines, especially as I am producing Tekno.
Try this: Open song -"Analog drum sequencer" in "default template" folder in "reason folder". Then find the synth with the "low tom 2" patch.Add small room reverb to it then fiddle around a little...........!!!!!!!!!********WOW have you ever heard a tom sound like that before?..................I doubt it.......Its better than the real thing!!!!!
RRRREEEEspect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Enjoy.........!

i love reason.. using v2 at the moment..
my favorite thing about it is the malstroem synth... it so damn versatile! it best at atmospherics/FX rather than lead synth melodies n stuff.. but the quant shaper on it is superb when you wire (insert any device) up to it!!

I use reason2 linked with CubaseSX, ALWAYS!!! I started with reason by itself bbut when I discovered rewire my life changed!!
Itīs Reasonīs fantastic synths with the professional characteristics of Cubase SX and the VST madness!@!!!
I also use my korg electribe to physically control the knobs in reasonīs modules...
ELECTRONIC MUSIC IS DA SHIT!!!!

Post subject: looking for some "shortcuts" in Reason |
|
|
hi, as i see everybody does some bits and pieces with Reason. just wondering....is there any shortcuts for "zoom" option...- when u "zoom" in and "zoom" out in sequencer? like, if u work with SoundForge, u can use arrows (up/down) for zooming into wave
