Nah, I would take the money and rent 2001:A Space Oddysey Very Happy

I would invest the rest of the money in:

- house
- BIG studio!
- car

Very Happy

Is a trip into space worth $20 million?

intresting, i would've have loved to have grown up from the 20's to present day, like my grandfather, born in 1921, and very much healthy today.

imagine seeing 80 years of history thro his eyes, from 2 world wars, 1 which he took part in, to the polymer / chemical revolution / space revolution / computer revolution / genetic / biochemical revolution to the present day, as much as optimist a person was in the 1920's many would probably not have had the thought of actually traveling in space, maybe instead observing thro a telescope and dreaming of the realisation of space travel, stuff dreams were made of.

now the posibiltly exsists for some people to realise and acheive there ultimate dream to travel in space, irespective of the duration or limitations, instead crossing that barrier from earth into space, would make many people seemingly happy without all the care in the world, maybe the trip to space is a symbolic gesture, of escaping the confines of earth, leaving behind rest of humanity and reaching out to the stars.

few have achieved this ultimate dream, can they say in retrospect was it all they expected to be, is it worth it shattering a lifetimes ambition and hope in the matter of mere moments, and risking it to be a letdown, imagine a lifetimes dream, when you reaslised it all was a illusion, what will happen, is that end of it, what seemingly unattainble goals and dreams will he strive for, if any, shattered illusions, shattered dreams, shattered life, maybe who knows,

is dreams and hopes the only reflection of humanity, the weakness, in not having trust and ones destiny or uncertanity, maybe, what is worse, a person dying, or a person who has his or her dreams
taken away from them, not being able to dream and hope, and live life with the assurance of a better and meanigful end?

paying for a trip to space, how many ppl have died, never seing a glimpse of a posibilty of that ever happening, or waiting in hope until there dying breath, yet here at the dawn of a new age ppl still dreaming, and dying, and only the few can pay for the realisation of there dreams, a reflection of humanity, driven by inherent squandering and massing up the resources of the world for there own greed and satisfaction,

on the other hand, what are the simplest dreams, a starvin child, dreaming for a bowlful of food everyday, a glass of clean water, just say the to manifest that in real material value terms is $1

principlally the thought provoked to my mind, that " is a single persons dreams which are worth $20 million, equivalent to 20 million starving childerns dreams ?

and a world where a person because of a pieces of paper (money) is not allowed dream, is death a better option than this, who knows, maybe one day you will attain your dreams, or maybe not always strving, perfecting. challenging, bettering yourslef rest of your life to get closer to them, what would you prefer?
