Hi,
Like most genres, house music has some pretty amazing tracks, some ok tracks and some poor tracks. I prefer more funky house or happy house like Roger Sanchez, Jakaata, Modjo, Armin Van Helden.

I also like a variety of other stuff, Deep Dish made an awesome remix of Delerium - Innocente and I liked some other remixes they made. I like X-Press 2 mix of Fatboyslims Star69 and I absolutly love X-press2 - Smoke Machine Smile

Anyway, thats some info about my taste in house music Smile

best house traxx for me are:

Modjo - lady
Pete Heller - big love
prince - when the doves cry
Three drives on a vinyl - greece 2000 (not really house but kind of Smile )
david morales - needin you
Dj tonka - she knows you
Roger Sanchez - another chance
Jean Jaques Smoothie - 2 people

I think house is a genre that never dies, all those good old tracks stay good forever and sound always good..... everywhere and everytime.

I'm not a massive house fan, but I liked it when I went to Mallorca last year, it was being played in the bars by daytime, and along with some chilled trance, really made a good atmosphere, the Ministry of Sounds Summer Ibiza Annual cd1 had an amazing mix of house, with Roger Sanchez, Static Revenger, The Gypsymen, Raven Maize etc well mixed and everytime I hear it, it reminds me of them long hot days, but by Night Trance really came out into its own, but I can see why House appeals to some.

For house, I like the French Genius Behind Daft Punk & Cassius, lots of bass and a funky tune, just not the synths we're used to with trance.

Danny Teneglia and Deep Dish are prob my two fav producers of house music. Danny plays some of the most moving sets I've ever heard, you just can't not dance to the beats he throws down, I recomend Global Universe cds of his absolutely love em. Deep Dish like someone said before Delerium - Innocente wow their mix was so powerful. As also mentioned X-Press 2 has been poping out quite a few good tracks this year.

in the trance section i posted my favorite house tracks of the yr if your looking for something to move to..

Do you mean Global Underground??

And correct me if I'm wrong, but when I hear Deep Dish, I think it's progressive all the way, not house music.

LOL the hell? Rank 1 and Vaiio, u consider eurohouse Neutral hmm u sure? Rank 1 is UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES house musik, its pure 200% TRANCE musik Wink Rapture song has house remixes but the original is trance and u mention Blank&Jones eurohouse? yes they may put some cheezy trance tunez, but when they spin its different

It's all about housemusic...listen children to what I'm gonna tell ya about this thing called house music. It's a spiritual thing but I'm here to tell you of what house music means to me. House music is a hero when you don't feel good. House music is a journey, yes it is, with a happy ending...house music is something that picks you up when your're feeling down, yes it is, and you melt in pure happiness on the dance floor once the house music takes over you!! It's all about house music, it's all about house music...you see, everything comes together for a reason and reason is come together for the house music now, alright? Something about house music, it makes you feel good, real good, clap your hands, and there ain't no other type of music that makes you feel that good...it's all about house music...

Rank 1 and all those u mentioned is Trance..and fuck it..u can't argue there... Well, I'm not that much into the type of vocal house like LAdy and stuff like that...but when it's HArd and Progressive like Brooklyn Bounce or BK..then we can talk about house muzak !!

i LOVE house music. As you can probably already tell by my sig and avatar, Naked Music is the best deephouse record label in the universe. Miguel Migs just came out with a new compilation from Naked Music. Its called Nude Tempo One. If you like deep house you HAVE to go buy this one.

You can't really say that house it commercial or underground because there are so many sub genres. I think this year house is going to be bigger than its ever been, especially more deep / prog styles.

My Fav 5 house dj's would have to be:

Sasha (the man is a god)
Digweed (not far behind sasha)
Nick Warren
Sander Kleinenberg
Deep Dish

But trance still is one of the best styles around, with the likes of tiesto (heard him at turnmills on Friday, amazing!) and pvd pushing forward its going to be around for a while. I just think that house is going to become the dominant genre of the club scene, mainly due to its many different forms (there's something for everyone).

Anyways that's my opinion, what ya recon?
