I was there, his set was awesome...i haven't heard the cd but i hear mixed opinions

its decent but not one of the best GU releases...its worth having for your cd collection though!
im looking forward to purchasing the nu breed 06- satoshi tomiie cd later this week...cos ive heard its wicked!

this is not your typical SEAMAN.. its not Renaissance, the mixing always stands out but the set itself is different than anyother mixed cds from dave. Differnet meaning more atmospheric to the ambient level, Intelligent and highly listenable, deep and eclectic.This shows that he is trustable.
He said he wanted this GU to be different because of all these recent compilatons sound the same.. and he succeeds.
Conlusion, This mix is up there with the best GUs. An essential pick of the year 2002.

Umm yeah he used most of the tunes that were in the set...i think
but there were some in the set he should have put on the cd (dont ask me to name em )

I don't really like GU Melbourne. There are some cool songs, and I respect him for really taking us on a journey, but the mood just doesn't sit well with me. As a "musical" composition its really nice but I just don't feel it.
