Post Post subject: What music production software? Reply with quote

Can anyone give any pointers on what software is good and easy to use for the production of my own trance tracks?

I have some ideas spinning round in my head and would like to get them down audily.....

Any helpm, tips and sofware sugestions would be a great help.

Many thanks,

Sygnus

dont even start - ive seen enough Fruity Vs Reason arguments for one lifetime. The both have their advantages and disadvantages. Personally i use fruity - but if i could get hold of reason on the cheap (i.e. free) then id try that out too.

If you are a beginner I would recommend Fruityloops 3. It's very user-friendly. You can try a demo at www.fruityloops.net

Reason2 is good synth, for multitrack i use Magix Music Maker 7, for editing (cut, stretch, loop, etc, etc) i use Vegas Audio Pro
For single editing i use Cool Edit Prov2 and then i got 45 cd´s from akai with loops and samples/fx.
