I've listened through the album. I like some of the songs, while others suck.

Southern Sun and Ready Steady Go are the best in my opinion.

Ive heard Southern Sun & Ready Steady Go, but thats all, so i cant really give a verdict on this album. But, judging from the original, Tiesto's remix job wasnt exactly hard! The elements were already there. He just kicked it up the @rse a bit! Very Happy

Oakenfold has Become Jokenfold, He's lost it completely, It's one thing trying to branch out styles, it's another succeeding properly, he hasn't done it

Wowowowowow easy there, it doesn't mean that if he made a bad album he lost it....no way.

Well if u did u will surely not have said this. This set is MINT Wink .
He's still a master although I didn't like his album either.

Southern Sun more than makes it up for the few not-so-good tracks on the album. I like most of the tracks though Southern Sun is the only MAJOR track.

i think its a superb album, it shows that he can succesfully switch genres with ease! it makes a change that a dance artist would make a mixed styles album! top marks for the sheer bollocks the man has shown!

i think oakenfold is trying to catch Mainstream attention, which is not bad at all, but the results are losing some old school fans who supported him from the begining.
album was not a good attempt by oaky, even though he might have made more money than ever, the legend is sullying his reputation.
its an album not for old serious oaky fans. But if you watch mtv or if you are into female vocals and eurotrance this album might live longer in your cd player than you think.

Oakey should stop producing,I haven't heard any good production on his own since 10 years or so.
He's a good DJ,he owns a very good record label,so what's the reason to produce crap like this?

Oaky's new album? Na, not a fan of it or the new styles he's gone towards.

'paul oakenfold -- bunkka' album:

well honestly i must say this was a major disappointment compared to his 'classic' albums such as tranceport... i mean in general, 'oaky' has def. giving the 'sold out' apperance to the mass majority of 'trance' fans... to release an album based soley for 'radio' play is a def. step away from electronic culture as a whole... just my thoughts...
