I'm not happy, I went down to HMV last night to purchase the new 2002 mixes of Pulsar but, I had a nasty surprise, the formats are CD1, CD2, & 12inch. "What's the problem" you may ask, well I'll tell you, I don't own a record player or decks so that ruled out the 12inch, "nevermind, at least there's two CDs" I thought, "they're bound to have all the mixes you could want, right?" WRONG! here's the useless tracklistings:

CD1
Pulsar 2002 (Megamind Edit)
Pulsar 2002 (Verdi Edit)
Pulsar 2002 (Tiesto Edit)

CD2
Pulsar 2002 (Radio Edit)
The Others (Album Sampler)

Notice anything those track on the first cd have in common?
Yep, they're all EDITS! What in gods name do I want with an edit of the Verdi Mix? I want the full version! As for the second CD... don't even go there. Surely they could of put the full mixes over the two CD's??? No wonder people use the net. SORT IT OUT LADS!!!!!

P.S. If you (like me) want the full Verdi mix then it isn't on the 12inch either! Side A is the full Megamind Mix & Side AA is the full Tiesto mix. Evil or Very Mad

Do you remember the days when you bought a CD single and it always had every mix you could possibly hope for? (and a few extra just thrown in for a bonus!) I have the original version of Grace 'Not Over Yet' on CD single, it has 8, count em! 8 mixes! totalling 45 minutes! not bad for £1.99 (thats how much singles cost back in 94) im starting to sound like an old man now... Laughing Laughing

Thats the worst thing of all!!!!!! I would of been willing to buy the vinyl, (my little brother has a record player) but, low and behold! the gits decided to stick Tiestos mix on the flipside intead of the Verdi Mix!!!!! For Christs sake, i know Tiesto is a good DJ & producer but the Verdi mix is obviously better! They've only stuck his mix on there because... well... its Tiesto! Simple as that! Right, thats my rant over, im still a little annoyed, looks like audiogalaxy will be in use tomorrow night! And it better be the full Verdi mix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

IMO the Tiesto mix of it is one of the lamest excuses for a tune I've heard, You don't get someone with an uplifting/slightly progressive background to Rmx a Picotto tune, someone like Scot Proj. to do it and it'd be Awesome

the first cd i got was Baby D - Let me be your fantasy, back in 1994 and It had 7 mixes on it for 2 quid, damn good Laughing
