Moby has been spending a lot of time creating an era of clam with his music over the past few months with a new collection of improvised off the cuff ambient cuts which he is releasing as a full album…
It was the worldwide pandemic that has been gripping countries all over the world which drew Moby into creating calm and comforting ambient music. Moby is a worldwide iconic name in the dance music industry and has a very experimental approach to some of his musical creations. For this latest project no preparation was required, it’s straight off the cuff and all the pieces in the new ambient edition have been fully improvised. Each chill out moment is as it was written at the time. We all need to relax now and then so why not do so to the improvised ambient beats of Moby. You can find the link to the album and a quick word from Moby about the album below.
A NOTE FROM MOBY
Hi.
When the pandemic started (was that 20 years ago?) i found a lot of calm and comfort in making quiet ambient music for myself. Then i thought it might be an interesting project to document myself making these ambient pieces. I gave myself one rule; they all had to be improvised, with no rehearsing or writing of pieces beforehand. I’m releasing the album of these Live Ambient Improvised Recordings today, as i know that so many of us are isolated and struggling through the holidays.
