 It’s the label made up a seven trance music talents all hand picked by its head of operations John Askew. Four of those have come together for its first label compilation jam packed with exclusive material to feature only on the four mix collection…
You could say that a label which only limits itself to seven artists has unnecessarily restricted its growth in a scene with so much talent available. The only restriction with VII is its own artist’s creativity. Each one has been picked to feature on the label by its creator John Askew, who knows a thing or two about how to produce a good tune. The seven culprits to bringing the sound of VII to life are John Askew, Simon Patterson, Sean Tyas, Blazer, Astrix, Will Atkinson and the Freedom Fighters.
They all have had very strong releases on the labels so far spreading the full range of trance sub genres from tech to acid and everything in between. The label was formed in 2016 and after two years of feeding the scene with some quality trance its time they fed it with its first compilation album. It must have been a tough to choice to pick which collectives of the group would mix this album. So much so the debut collection is a whopping four mixes. The creators of each are Simon Patterson, Sean Tyas, John Askew and Will Atkinson.
The album is a collection of up front tunes which many have been created specifically for its release. You will find a whole bunch of exclusive material in here form special re-edits to brand new mixes and remixes. The tracklist will be released ahead of its release date but with such quality on show here, you don’t need to wait for it to get this one pre-ordered. The album will be released on the 5th October featuring a 4CD, digital and stream editions.
