One of the latest bangers to come out of VANDIT Records is a smashing new release from Leroy Moreno with ‘Cerulean’. Trance fans who like a good riff will love this…

If you cast your minds back a year chances are you would have never of heard of Leroy Moreno. I know that’s the case for me. He is one of VANDIT’s brand new talents and while you might not know him by name you may well do by tune if you follow Paul van Dyk’s radio shows and live sets. His brand new single on VANDITis one which I have taken a particular like to and having looked back at a few of his previous the sounds are ones which I do remember. The name just might not have stuck but after this latest single it definitely has. From his releases so far this Texas born trance producer who gained inspiration while gigging at Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren and Paul Oakenfold now has his dance floor legends pumping his own tracks out.

This one is definitely a tune for the high tempo fans as its brimmed to the edge with pumping beats and a killer riff. You can see why Paul van Dyk likes Leroy and puts faith in his releases on his label. There is a little bit of his style in with Leroy’s production, which is not a surprise seeing as Paul is an artist who he has taken inspiration from with his music. It is not a bad thing either as every trance fan should know what calibre of a dance icon like Paul van Dyk and his productions he’s releases over the years. Cerulean is a track full of energy from the first beat and as melodies go, the one injected into this really hits the spots, added in by a very nice effected vocal and piano lines. This is a real fist pumper of a tune.

Conclusion:
The latest weapon from Leroy gets the thumbs up from me, its banging. For those who like the more pounding style of trance you will be all over this. VANDIT has a real gem on their books and this is only the start of what I'm sure are many more banging records to come.
