Here is something really juicy for the Fatboy slim fans out there with the release of a visual book displaying in pictures the items, music, memorabilia that document over 40 years in the music business…
The career of Norman Cook goes back nearly 40 years and while he may be most known for his Fatboy Slim moniker he has done a whole lot more other projects over the four decades. If you looking for the most in depth insight into those 40 years then his new visual book is perfect, especially if you just can’t be arsed to read a 1000 page best selling novel. I’m sure the traditional book would be a great read but the visual documentation of what the Fatboy has been inspired with during his musical journey is far more appealing.
Norman has done a teaser of what to expect during this visual journey through the years with a little video on the book website picking out a few things he’s collector over the years. He has a vast collection of all sorts of stuff, not just music and it’s sure to be a fascinating look back at the history of not just his own musical projects but the stories behind the things he’s collected.
There are a number of book packages to pre-order with the standard copy of the hardback sitting at £40 to a full on goody bag galore deluxe collectors edition going for a whopping £500. Which ever one fits in your budget the book on its own looks well worth the money for an insight into the man we all know as Fatboy Slim.
You can find all the details on the different packages on the website with pre-orders available now. The book is set to drop this autumn and released through Rocket88 Books.
