 They had the party and now its time to enjoy the music from it in the fifth instalment of the ‘Secret Vinyl Album’ from Tidy Trax mixed together by The Tidy Boys and Sam Townend…
There are plenty of Tidy compilations to enjoy both old and new but one series which is a particular favourite of mine is the ‘Secret Vinyl Album’ one. The brief for the compilation is a simple one, just put together the lost gems of the Hard House scene to feature on the format over two full on banging mixes. The first was released a few years ago and was launched alongside a very special party hosted by the Tidy Boys
It’s fitting then that the latest compilation in this delicious series follows on from a Vinyl only party the Tidy guys had at their headquarters at the Tileyard in Wakefield. The party was only for an initial 100 people and quite the exclusive affair but it was a sell out and further parties are being planned with added capacity.
The new album is the fifth in the series and is also a limited release with only a 100 copies produced. There are two very fine mixes with one from the founders of Tidy the Tidy Boys the other from long time Tidy faithful Sam Townend. There are some super tunes to be found over the two mixes and it’s very much worth a purchase before they sell out as its quite likely once there gone there gone.
