 The Futuro album from Bedrock put together by the legend that is John Digweed has a remix edition on the way featuring some tasty new remakes of all the tracks on the original release…
There are two iconic names in the dance industry for me, Bedrock and John Digweed. His very own label which has been around for decades has been pushing out all forms of electronic beats to all corners of the Earth. The label has very wide range of dance styles but I would tag the more progressive house stuff as one of their recognisable styles. They have done some stunning mix compilations over the years and their latest one at the end of the last is getting a fresh faced remix edition.
There used to be a time when remix editions of albums were more common than Tik Tok influencers but you don’t see that many in today’s scene. This particular remake edition of ‘Futuro’ has been in the making ever since the original release at the back end of last year. The compilation is a very good one with 20 superb remixes spread across the two discs with the release also featuring a very special five LP edition for those who like to enjoy their music on the black gold.
This one drops at the beginning of December and looks a bloody good one so treat yourself to an early Christmas present in either format that takes your fancy.
