 It’s about time for an autumn catch up with the one and only Moby. If your not subscriber to his monthly ramblings you can read this months right here…
International legend Moby is still as active as ever within the music industry and while his style crosses over many different genres many dance fans like myself enjoy his current audio experimentation with sounds old and new. He is quite active in sending out regular broadcasts and to get you right up to date with all news this month he just released a new update a few days ago worth catching up on.
THE VERY LATEST UPDATE FROM MOBY
It's been a few weeks since i've written because i was on tour, and then i went hiking, and then i forgot to write...and, well, those things. but;
-big news! a few months ago we recorded 2 live moby pod episodes at the amazing masonic lodge in the hollywood forever cemetery. part 1 is the story of play leading up to the release of play, and part 2 is the story of play after it's release. and part 1 is out now! on youtube and wherever podcasts live. also we played a bunch of live acoustic songs with a string section, guest vocalists, and the amazing lady blackbird. so; me, bagel, lindsay, lady blackbird, the story of play, beautiful cellos and violins, all in one place! hooray.
-also the tour is over and thanks for coming out to the shows! 7 shows and we played to over 100,000 people in one week and raised a bunch of money for animal rights and climate charities! the exact amount we raised will be announced later in the year after the tour accounting is wrapped up. again; thanks!
-also; the election! it goes without saying, but if you live in the u.s and a; VOTE!!!!!
-and lastly fastboy & sophie & the giants have a new song called 'last summer' that samples 'porcelain', and it's really fun...
